Schalke 04 want striker Mpenza from Liege

Gelsenkirchen club Schalke 04 are in talks to sign Belgian international striker Emile Mpenza from Standard Liege.

Emile's elder brother Mbo left the Liege club for Sporting Lisbon this week and the Bundesliga outfit have made a cash plus player offer with £3 million involved plus a move for the Schalke forward Michael Goosens.
