Hamburg swoop for Jarolim

Struggling SV Hamburg wrapped up the signing of Czech midfielder David Jarolim from FC Nuremberg.

Nuremberg spokesman Martin Haltermann on Sunday confirmed the move with the 24-year-old costing Hamburg around one million euros (1.1 million dollars).

Hamburg coach Kurt Jara moved swiftly to sign former Bayern Munich player Jarolim with the German transfer window due to close.
