Swiss international midfielder Hakan Yakin is due to complete his move from Basel to Paris Saint Germain on Thursday after undergoing a medical, the French club announced.
The 26-year-old, who has a Turkish background, will sign a four-year deal with PSG who have been attempting to agree a fee for the player after Basel had originally demanded 1.7 million euros (1.9million US dollars).
Yakin, scorer of 11 goals in 25 internationals, is the fifth new recruit at PSG with his transfer financed by the 30-million-euro sale of Brazilian ace Ronaldinho to Barcelona.
Also arriving at the Parc des Princes are Portuguese international striker Pauleta from Bordeaux, Cameroonian international midfielder Modeste Mbami and defenders Eric Cubilier and Jose Pierre-Fanfan who are on loan from Monaco.
