Russian Premier League leaders CSKA Moscow extended their winning streak by beating Samara 2-0 to confirm their leading position in the Russian Premier League.
CSKA have 28 points from 11 matches, eight points ahead of Dynamo Moscow, who came from a goal down to beat 3-1 Volgograd at home.
Czech international midfielder Jiri Jarosik put CSKA 1-0 up at Samara, beating goalkeeper Andrei Chichkin with a precise kick nine minutes into the match.
In the 36th minute CSKA's Ukrainian defender Bogdan Shershun increased his side's lead with a close-range header after Jarosik fed him into the six-yard box from right winger Rolan Gusev's free kick.
After the interval the hosts upped the tempo but failed to change the scoreline as the visitors defended well, while their 'keeper Igor Akinfeyev was in complete command of his net.
Ramenskoye failed to keep up with the leaders as they were held at home to a goalless draw by the defending champions Lokomotiv Moscow.
Dynamo were trailing 1-0 at home, after Volgograd veteran striker Valery Yesipov netted an opening goal with a header 33 minutes into the match.
But Dynamo's midfielder Vitaly Grishin levelled at one-all two minutes from the break.
Grishin put Dynamo into 2-1 lead in the 66th minute with his second of the match, when he scored from close range following teammate Ognen Koroman's corner.
The visiting side created several serious threats to Dynamo's goal but failed to save the day, while the hosts striker Dmitry Bulykin netted his team's third to secure a well-deserved win.
