Former England striker Andrew Cole completed his free transfer to Manchester City from English Premiership rivals Fulham.

The 33-year-old will now be available for selection for the second match of the club's pre-season tour of Thailand having passed his medical.

"Andy has played 100 games in the last three years and was sixth or seventh goal scorer last season when Fulham struggled," City manager Stuart Pearce said Wednesday.

"He has a top class pedigree and I know our younger players can learn from him."
