Stuttgart sign Dane Gronkjaer

VfB Stuttgart have signed Atletico Madrid's Danish international Jesper Gronkjaer on a three-year contract.
Atletico asked for seven million euros for Gronkjaer who had been under contract in Spain till 2007, the German press reported Saturday. Gronkjaer will join international team-mate Jon Dahl Tomasson who joined Stuttgart from AC Milan.
Before arriving at Atletico in the summer of 2004, Gronkjaer had played four seasons at English Premiership champions Chelsea and three seasons with Dutch club Ajax.
