Bayern Munich midfielder Michael Ballack scored twice to give the German champions a come-from-behind 3-1 victory against J-League side Jubilo Iwata, ending their Japanese tour undefeated.
Bayern were struggling 1-0 down in the first half, with Jubilo's Ryoichi Maeda opening scoring in the 15th minute, firing a right footer into the net from just outside the penalty area.
The Japanese fought bravely throughout the first half, with defenders holding their positions high to stage offside traps to capture rushing strikers.
After missing opportunities earlier in the game, Bayern came back in the second half, with Ballack equalizing off a penalty in the 54th minute.
Striker Jose Paolo Guerrero also found the net in the 72nd minute, sliding before the box to push in an Andreas Otti cross to put the Germans ahead.
Eleven minutes later, Ballack headed in a corner kick from Owen Hargreaves.
"We struggled in the first half, but I am happy with the three points in the second half," said Bayern coach Felix Magath. "I am happy with the outcome. We were able to test players before the German league starts."
