France international David Trezeguet scored twice as Juventus won 2-0 at Piacenza for their fourth straight victory in Serie B.

The fallen Turin giants, demoted to Italy's second division and forced to start on minus 17 points for match-fixing, have dropped just two points from their five matches played as they attempt to make a swift return to the top flight against the odds.

Juventus remain bottom of the table on minus four points, 15 adrift of league leaders Brescia.

Trezeguet refused to take all the plaudits for a hard-fought win.

"On a personal level I'm very satisfied, but what is more important is that the team is playing well and winning," he told Italy's SKY Sports.

"It was a difficult match. Every team in this division fights right to the end, and we have to be prepared to do the same."

Trezeguet broke the deadlock on the half hour, meeting Alessandro Del Piero's left-wing cross with a close-range glancing header.

The same combination teamed up again to extend Juve's lead a minute before half time, Del Piero's crossed free-kick brushing off Trezeguet's forehead for the Frenchman's fifth goal in three matches.
