Real Madrid's Spanish international goalkeeper Iker Casillas said that their 1-0 defeat at Getafe was the worst performance he can remember in his seven seasons in the Real first team.
"It's rare that Real didn't have a shot on goal in 90 minutes. It's the worst game I can remember us playing. There's almost nothing you can say that's positive about what we did. The only thing to do is think about the next game," reflected Casillas.
Real coach Fao Capello had blasted the team both in the dressing room and in front of the media at the post-game press conference on Saturday night, after Real had lost their unbeaten record in the league.
"We played badly. There are no excuses. Getafe deserved to win," said a furious Capello, who will have to lift his side and get them back on track ahead of their Champions League match at Steaua Bucharest on Tuesday.

Real Madrid's Spanish international goalkeeper Iker Casillas said that their 1-0 defeat at Getafe was the worst performance he can remember in his seven seasons in the Real first team.
"It's not just the coach that is angry, we are angry with ourselves. We know it wasn't a good game and we didn't do anything well.
"Now we have to turn over the page and think about an important game in the Champions League. We've got to look to the future," added Casillas.
Casillas, who was also Spain's captain in their recent internationals against Sweden and Argentina, did defend his team mate Ronaldo who was sent off in the final minute for dissent.
With one booking already to his name, the three-time World Player of the Year muttered "phenomenal" under his breath after Ruud van Nistelrooy had been shown a yellow card and was given his marching orders.
The dismissal means that Ronaldo will miss next Sunday's clash against bitter rivals Barcelona.

Real Madrid's Spanish international goalkeeper Iker Casillas said that their 1-0 defeat at Getafe was the worst performance he can remember in his seven seasons in the Real first team.
"It was an excessive penalty, the referee wasn't thinking too much. It's was very tough because at no time was he disrespectful or insulting. It was just a passing comment and the referee should have realized that the game was coming to an end shortly," commented Casillas.
To add injury to insult, Real ended the game with both club captain Raul and defender Ivan Helguera suffered problems which could keep them out of the match against Steaua Bucharest.
Both men will travel to Romania on Monday but Raul suffered a slightly sprained ankle and Helguera had a mild thigh strain.
Real are already without their two regular right back options Cicinho and Michel Salgado, who are both injured.
Spanish international winger Jose Antonio Reyes will also miss Real's match on Tuesday as he has not fully recovered from the calf strain he suffered two weeks ago.
Reyes' absence means that former England captain David Beckham is likely to start on Real's right flank against Steaua and will have another chance to press his claims for an England recall.
