Argentina international Nicolas Burdisso has extended his contract with Inter Milan that will keep him at the club until 2009, the Serie A champions confirmed.
The 25-year-old defender's original deal was due to end in 2008.
Burdisso, who joined Inter from Argentine club Boca Juniors in July 2004, was a member of Argentina's World Cup squad.
Inter finished third in Serie A last season, but were crowned champions after Juventus and AC Milan were found guilty of match-fixing.
