Greek champions Olympiakos announced Friday that Argentine striker Luciano Martin Galletti(R), seen here in 2006, has penned a four-year contract.
Greek champions Olympiakos announced Friday that Argentine striker Luciano Martin Galletti has penned a four-year contract.
The club did not release financial details of the deal.
Galletti, 27, has played 13 matches for Argentina, scoring three goals.
For the last two seasons Galletti played for Atletico Madrid and before that for Real Zaragoza (2001-2005), Estudiantes (2000-2201 and 1997-1999) and in Italy for SSC Napoli and Parma AC (1999-2000).
"I am very happy and want to thank both Olympiakos and Atletico Madrid for this opportunity," he said.
"I am pleased with the way that the administration of Olympiakos, the coaching staff and the fans welcomed me and I want to show my appreciation on the pitch."
