Fiorentina centre-back Alessandro Gamberini said Friday his team would not be overawed when they travel to Turin to face Juventus on Sunday.
Juve head their opponents by four points and one position in the league but will be missing veteran Czech winger Pavel Nedved and Italy centre-back Giorgio Chiellini, both suspended, for the crunch match.
The two sides, third and fourth in Serie A, are in a battle with AC Milan to finish in the top four at the end of the season and secure Champions League football next season.
"We're going to Turin to play Juve to impose our game as we do every time because we want to silence the voices who say that we can't beat the big teams," said Gamberini.
"Inter Milan are the only team we can't compete with, against the rest we can play them at their level.
"We're going to Turin to try to give a nice present to our fans and to turn the fight for a place in the Champions League into a three-horse race."
If Fiorentina win and fifth place AC Milan also beat Lazio at home on Saturday, the three teams fighting for those Champions League places would be separated by just three points.
