The last Glasgow derby of the century ended 1-1 at Celtic Park this afternoon.
Scottish champions Glasgow Rangers came from a goal down in a frantic game to keep a four point lead at the top of the Scottish Premier League as the winter break begins.
New signing Billy Dodds marked his first Old Firm game with an equaliser from close range in the 37th minute after Mark Viduka had given the home team the lead after 20 minutes in an opening spell that also saw Celts hit the post twice and the crossbar as they dominated the play. Viduka hit his 44th goal in only 56 starts for Celtic but Dodds finished little more than a half chance to earn a draw and leave the champions in control of the title race.
The SPL returns at the end of January after a four week winter break.
