Sparta Prague 0 FC Porto 2

Sparta Prague survived until the last thirteen minutes against the Portuguese champions but FC Porto plugged away at their defence and in the end earned a deserved victory.

Two defensive errors by the Prague side set up the win for Porto. A cross from the right in the 77th minute allowed Drulovic to evade a diving challenge and settle on the ball in the six yard area for a simple tap in.

Jardel has decided to stay with Porto until at least the summer and insists his side have a chance of making real progress in the Champions League. The Brazilian accepted a simple opening when Petr Gabrel fluffed a clearance with four minutes to go to allow Jardel to run through and tap the ball into the net underneath the goalkeeper.
