Feyenoord continued their Champions League resurgence with a 0-0 home win over SS Lazio.
The Dutch champions produced a great display last week to win 2-1 in the Italian capital and held the expensive Serie A side to a draw in Rotterdam.
Goalkeeper Jurek Dudek almost gifted Lazio a second minute lead when he fluffed a clearance into the path of Marcelo Salas but recovered to save at the Chile star's feet. This was the best chance for either side until the second half when Pavel Nedved screwed a shot wide of the far post at a tight angle in the 70th minute but both sides settled for a risk-free draw in a game that never hit the heights of last week's encounter.
