Colombia dominated an entertaining friendly at the Giants Stadium in New Jersey as their tour of the US was completed.

The South Americans return to 2002 World Cup qualifying next weekend and rolled over Jamaica with some ease.

They passed the ball well and probed continually for weaknesses in the Caribean side and took the lead in the 31st minute when Jairo Castillo converted a mistake by goalkeeper Aaron Lawrence.

The goalkeeper failed to hold a drive from outside the penalty area by Ivan Valencio after Frank Sinclair had given the ball away to the winger. Lawrence's save went to Castillo who knocked the ball into the net.

Colombia scored again in the 75th minute when substitute midfielder Alex Vivedos converted a low cross from Castillo into the net.

Onandi Lowe felled substitute Hector Hurtado in the 91st minute and Hurtado scored from the penalty spot.
