PSV Eindhoven are well placed to progress in the Champions League after this 1-0 win in the Ukraine.

Andre Ooijer headed in a Marc van Bommel free kick in the 45th minute after outjumping defenders.

Substitute Dennis Rommedahl forced a great save with a powerful drive at goalkeeper Olexander Shovkocsky in the 87th minute to almost seal the win but Kyiv had scored twice in the second half but had both efforts ruled offside.
