Gold Cup - Canada 2 South Korea 1

Canada defeated South Korea to end up in third place at the Gold Cup largely thanks to an own goal by Kim Do-Hoon who also scored for his own side.

Kim's own goal was followed less than a minute later by Dwayne DeRosario's match-winner for the Canadians.

Kim had earlier given Koea the lead in the 15th minute when he launched a swerving shot that soared past goalkeeper Lars Hirschfeld.

But it all went wrong for Kim when he headed into his own net in the 34th minute and seconds later Jim Bennan set up DeRosario for a low drive.
