Dudek turns down Tottenham loan offer

Polish international goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek has turned down the chance to join Tottenham.

The London club made an offer at the weekend to Dudek and his agent, former Dutch international Jan Peeters, but were not prepared To make him the first choice above Scottish international Neil Sullivan. A loan was offered to Dudek but he refused.

Dudek agreed personal terms with Arsenal in June but his Dutch club Feyenoord could not agree a transfer fee with the Pole and the move collapsed. The goalkeeper is to stay with Feyenoord while they remain in the Champions League this season while Tottenham want another goalkeeper to cover for Sullivan.
