German international and Hertha Berlin star Sebastian Deisler says his World Cup participation will be decided soon.
"I will get back to full training at the end of the week," the 22 year old told TV DSF.
"I don't know will I play in the remaining Bundesliga two rounds but I just hope I will."
Deisler is sset to join bayern Munich after the World Cup finals but his recovery from knee surgery last year was hampered by a recent groin strain.
"I have no idea whether I will play in the World Cup or not It all depends on my fitness after two or three weeks."
Germany coach Rudi Voller saw Bayern Munich star Mehmet Scholl rules himself out of the finals with injury problems yesterday despite personal please to play by Voller.
The loss of Deisler after that news means Germany will rely on Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Michael Ballack to play-make at the finals in June.
