Rivaldo has refused the latest offer from SS Lazio.
The Rome club are trying to secure a deal by July 10th with the Brazilian star who is preparing for the World Cup semi final in Saitama on Wednesday against Turkey.
Their president Sergio Cragnotti has contacted Rivaldo but the striker does not want to discuss his future at the moment after FC Barcelona allowed Lazio to make their offer to try and sign the 28 year old.
Rivaldo is not willing to talk about leaving Barca while Brazil remain in the World Cup finals which narrows the time Lazio and Cragnotti will have to try and land their long term transfer target unless the South American side lose to Turkey.
Barca are willing to relase Rivaldo to fund new transfer moves by coach Louis Van Gaal and the player's five goals in Japan and Korea this month and strong interest from several clubs means the player's transfer value is peaking again.
