United " a good option" says Roberto Carlos

United have yet to make a significant transfer move this summer but are again interested in the defender.
Madrid left back Carlos says he may be moving to Manchester United.
Carlos has been a target for United for the last four years and the Brazilian has already seen interest from former club Inter this summer.
"The interest from Manchester United is not new. They have been asking about me for the last two years. Ferguson spoke with me once and I am aware that I am a player that he likes. I don't know if they have been talking to each other, but if they want to sit down and negotiate I am not going to stop it. If I had to leave Real I would not join another Spanish team. United would be a good option, but I don't know if any of this speculation is serious."
